Job Description
Wholesale, fresh, natural bakery producing a variety of gourmet artisan breads, serving leading restaurants, premier hotels,
contract food service, catering companies, government organizations and gourmet delis throughout the DC and Baltimore metro areas. 
1 plant with 175 production, packaging and distribution employees. 
Just outside of the District of Columbia.

Responsible for all baking and packaging operations.
Manage the bread production, frozen and fresh products in the mixing, shaping, proofing, baking and packaging.
Implement SOPs and processing parameters.
Oversee the research and development of new bakery products and existing line extensions.
Improve and oversee the production training program on products, processes and food safety.
BS / AS in Culinary Arts or Baking
5+ years’ of experience in hands on bread baking and standard baking equipment.
Strong background in developing and testing new recipes, scratch baking, mixing, formulating recipes and developing frozen bread dough.
Management, communication and leadership skills.
AIB certified would be ideal.
