Job Description
Production Supervisor Position in Tulsa
Salary 55 to 60K
Support e-coat line production by supervising processes equipment and personnel associated with Production of the e-coat process, accounting for all production and quality of the production.
Relationships:    Reports directly to the Plant Manager.
 Responsible for all E-coat, loaders, unloaders, packagers, operators and foreman.
 Works in cooperation with internal suppliers, QA, scheduling and rackable weld centers Supervisor.
Actively participates in departmental team building, meetings and goal setting.
 Provides accurate planning and reporting of daily production.
 Demonstrate ability to provide product and services of exceptional quality.
Performance Measures:  Ability to follow instructions.  Active with facilitating Lean/VAVE projects.  6S Shop organization and cleanup.  Professionalism in speech and actions.  Development of department personnel.  Productivity of department personnel.  Shop morale as measured by employee input.  Relationships with employees, coworkers and management personnel.  Personal growth in job knowledge and self-improvement.  Product quality.  Maintenance of equipment.  Ability to perform assigned tasks.  Ability to meet negotiated timeframes.  Support of company goals and objectives.  Contributions to the bottom line.  Attendance and participation in company events.  Employee turnover.  Performance to objective goals prescribed for metrics
Education: High school diploma or GED.
· Four years of experience in a position of similar responsibility in manufacturing.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product designs, safety, quality and workflow needs.
· Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
· Strong documentation skills, reporting skills and computer skills, Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint
· Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
· Ability to be a contributing and collaborative team member.
· Personal growth in job knowledge and self-improvement.
Job Duties & Requirement (included but not limited to the following):
Specific Job Responsibilities:
 Maintain clean, safe, organized material storage areas.
 Maintain equipment by planning and carrying out PM’s as prescribed by documented procedure and by creating documented procedure for PM’s wherever needed.
Produce product of exceptional quality by implementing QA approach to meeting company production objectives.
Provide leadership by example for all employees.
Coach and train employees in policy and procedure regarding safety, quality and productivity in that order of importance.
Plan and assign daily tasks geared toward meeting daily schedule and departmental goals to area employees.
Meet with and work with scheduling, Planning, Shipping and Rackable weld center Supervisors and inventory control daily to assess needs to support today and future production.
Plan and document daily schedule of activities geared towards schedule attainment for all direct reports working for weld centers.
Turn in daily receiving accurately and on time.
Review materials needs daily and notify manager of shortfalls in product and materials at least one day in advance of day’s production.
Actively participate in process improvement projects geared toward cost savings in labor and materials.
Organize and plan for on-line packaging situations and make requests for additional manpower where needed at least two hours prior to production.
Review performance and attendance of line employees and foremen, Document performance and disciplinary actions.
Create and report prescribed Metrics daily weekly and monthly.
