Executive Director Private Home Care, Bergen County  NJ

Position Description:  The Executive Director will lead and direct all service delivery operations for Company in the Region. He/she will have oversight of all facets of service delivery to clients with a continual focus on process improvement, customer service, and improving the employee and client experience. He/she will be a key contributor with senior management in ongoing efforts to differentiate and innovate services provided. He/she will ensure that all documentation, charting, and service delivery details are all within compliance of the regulations put forth from the New Jersey Department of Health.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Facilitates collaboration between sales team, operational staff, and talent acquisition functions to promote effective on-boarding and staffing of new client cases.
  • Oversees effective management of orientation, supervision, and evaluation processes for all caregivers and staff.
  • Implements and manages process with the client coordination function to insure all client requests are covered, confirmed, and documented in the scheduling system in real time.
  • Ensures that all documentation related to caregiver performance /activity is documented in timely manner and recorded in the scheduling system. (i.e. plan of care, activities, schedules, notes, call outs, declined assignments, and disciplinary actions.)
  • Participates with management in ongoing customer service initiatives to improve client satisfaction.
  • Communicates with clients and families as needed regarding satisfaction and/or issues of clients.
  • Maintains knowledge as to current clinical practice and applicable regulations in the state of New Jersey
  • Oversees all details of operations to ensure that Company maintains compliance under the New Jersey Department of Health Regulations.
  • Oversees the development and management of caregiver orientation and in- service programs both in and out of house.
  • Participate in initiatives with management as requested to insure our commitment to exceptional care and customer service is upheld.
  • Participates in strategic business development initiatives with sales team and senior management.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven business management success, preferably with multi-site operation.
  • At least five years of experience in homecare or related industry.
  • Experience in hospitality industry and/or strong passion for customer service.
  • Proficient in software programs and in their implementation.
  • Proven ability to generate positive relationships with staff, clients, and business partners.
  • A strong working knowledge of the New Jersey Department of Health Regulations for private home care services.
