The company has completed many projects and established strong ties to both owners, architects and designers. We deliver construction services through a variety of methods including construction management, general contracting, and design/build scenarios. Our projects include medical and commercial office buildings, office renovations, education, religious, retail and entertainment venues. Every project has been completed within the original time and budget parameters established.

Position & Overview:

Our company is looking for the (Right) Sr. Project Manager who can manage daily operations, business developement with current and future owner/clients, manage the project staff and all subcontractors as needed. This person will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals & objectives of all projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.

Overview of Basic Experience Needed: 

> Estimating & Managing commercial projects with Timberline or other similar estimating software system.

> Local Nashville (or Middle-Tn) owner relationships and exposure to dealing with Architecture companies.

> 8+ years or more of commercial New/remodel construction experience.

> 4 year college degree or equivalent experience in construction management preferred, but not required.

> Lives in local Nashville area preferred.

> Benefits, Insurance options, 401(k) and other incentive package offered to selected candidate.

> Residential construction experience will not be considered as equivalent. 

> Project size/values of $500k-$5M average (Office, Retail, Multifamily, Light Industrial).


What you will be doing:

• Reviews or assists in reviewing project proposal or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project and available resources to generate estimates & bid.

• Work with management & staff to negotiate contract changes

• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures as well as contract plans and specifications

• Coordinate or assist with coordination of project activities with Company personnel

• Reviews status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required for review

• Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems

• Responsible for and assisting with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation or the project: including safety, resources, performance, budget, scheduling, equipment management, quality, and risk analysis

• Manages the process to ensure that documented commitments made in the developmental phases of a project are implemented at the proper time

• Reviews and approves vendor pay estimates, material requests and invoices

• Draft, review and approve works and purchase orders

• Attends project status meetings and assists in problem solving efforts

• Work with and be part of the estimating/bid process during project procurement phases

• Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management.

• ?Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc.

  • Construction Management or Business (Bachelor’s) degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of supervisory experience in the commercial new-remodel construction industry
  • 5+ years of Project Management construction experience required in commercial industry.
  • The selected candidate will also have a clean drivers license, drug screen and background check to be eligible for this opportunity.
