Job Description
Position Requirements
The position of Business Office Manager provides leadership, direction and education relating to the Accounts Receivable billing and collections process within the facility.  This position must function as a financial team leader working closely with other department heads, Executive Director. The position is responsible for timely billing and collections of various payors, including Medicare, Medicaid, Hospice, and Managed Care.. The position is responsible for ensuring an accurate census, accounting and capturing of all facility revenues. Knowledge and understanding of cash collections measurements.
 Candidate Must Possess:
Minimum of 2 Years’ Accounts Receivable in a nursing home/LTC environment
Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills
Complete knowledge of LTC Ohio Medicaid
Complete knowledge of Medicare billing in a nursing home
Understanding of electronic claims submission
Trust Fund management
Full understanding of nursing home revenue cycle
Ability to perform month end close and meet strict deadlines
Software:
Vision/Health MedX
Quadax
RFMS
Proficient in Excel and Word
